Why is mobile grooming more expensive?
The price of most mobile-based grooming services run at least 50% higher than their stationary counterparts. First and foremost, mobile grooming limits the amount of grooming sessions one groomer can schedule in one day by more than half. By providing this unique one-on-one service, we assume higher risks. Our ability to meet our business, personal, and the needs our clients rely heavily on a balance of a variety of factors beyond our control. Just some of the daily challenges unique to mobile are: scheduled appointments being maintained, weather conditions, travel time, our equipment functioning as it should, and the physical ability to work without assistance.

Understanding how to recognize signs of fear, anxiety, and stress is one of the most important tools in a pet professionals toolbox, and the first step in creating a safe and healthy space for the pets in our care.
What to expect for your pets first grooming session….
The Wag and Wander studio is fully self contained, and ready to start your grooming session upon arrival.
All required paperwork is filled out prior to beginning the grooming session, including documentation of current vaccinations or vaccination waiver.
A mostly level space to park that can accommodate a large van.
We require a 60 minute arrival window to ensure enough time for each pet, travel, and to ensure the studio is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
Pet parents can expect to spend approximately 15 minutes with the groomer to discuss goals for your pet’s first session, and any relevant intake information prior to beginning the session.
You will receive a message approximately 15 minutes before completion to let you know your pup is almost ready.
Payment is due upon completion of session and can be made contact-less via Square payment link, credit card, cash, or check.
